Will my diet effect my eyes?

By eating a healthy diet of colourful fruit and vegetables and maintaining a healthy weight, you will help prevent high blood pressure and diseases such as diabetes, which impact on the health of your eyes.  

Will smoking damage my eyes?

As a smoker you are twice as likely to lose your sight later in life. You only have one pair of eyes for life, so look after them now.

How often should I have my eyes examined?

You should visit an eye care professional for an eye examination every one or two years, not only to check your vision but to check your eye and general health. At your visit you will be advised when you should book your next appointment.

Do you have parking available?

There is plenty of parking surrounding the practise, with disabled parking at the side. There is a parking limit and at present Sudbury still has Free Parking. Please note that although the parking is free you need to display a time stamped ticket from the machines.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Yes. Our reception, consulting rooms and dispensing areas are all on one downstairs  level. We are level with the pavement outside and our automatic doors will welcome you into our practice.

I have a high prescription, will my lenses be thick?

They do not have to be, with a careful choice of frame and the latest technology making thinner lenses available to all.

Do I have to pay for an eye test?

Our sight tests are £35 for privately paying patients unless for any reason you are entitled to na NHS eye test. Please see the sight test exemptions below.

I like this frame but is it available in a different colour?
