FAQs: General Questions

Are eye conditions hereditory?

Be aware of your family history of eye conditions, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration and ask our advise on how to prevent or delay an onset.

Will my diet effect my eyes?

By eating a healthy diet of colourful fruit and vegetables and maintaining a healthy weight, you will help prevent high blood pressure and diseases such as diabetes, which impact on the health of your eyes.

Will smoking damage my eyes?

As a smoker you are twice as likely to lose your sight later in life. You only have one pair of eyes for life, so look after them now.
